Campus access

Because NCSSM is a high school serving minors, both our Durham and Morganton locations operate as closed campuses. For the protection of students, we require members of the media to schedule all visits in advance and for media representatives to be escorted by our Communications team at all times while on campus. NCSSM reserves the right to deny or limit access to campus, and/or require pool cameras or reporting. Please use the contact methods above to make arrangements.

Event coverage

We typically welcome media at events such as performances and sports competitions that are open to the public, but we do require media to make arrangements in advance so that we can facilitate access that does not interfere with the event, such as by designating a particular area for news media.
