NCSSM Foundation
For more than 30 years, under the leadership and guidance of its Board of Directors, the NCSSM Foundation has pursued its mission to support the operation and programs of the School, and thereby to advance educational improvement throughout North Carolina.
As a result, the Foundation has supported the academic aspirations of thousands of top NC students enrolled in our residential, distance education, and outreach programs. Teachers, as well, have benefited from continuing education in science and math.
We remain grateful for the many alumni, parents, employees, trustees, foundation directors and friends of the School for their financial support of the NCSSM Foundation. Together, we fund the margin of excellence that defines the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.

Mission Statement
The NCSSM Foundation has been organized to operate exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including, but not limited to, receiving, administering and granting funds for the support of the academic and educational programs of, and any other phase of operation or program of, the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, as the Board of Directors of the NCSSM Foundation in its discretion may deem appropriate for the advancement of education.
