NCSSM constituents seek local, state, and national leadership roles

Each year, a number of NCSSM graduates and constituents declare their intention to run for elected office. Some are yielding for the very first time to a desire to serve as a public official while others are running reelection campaigns, hoping their constituents will return them to an office they currently hold.

“During this election season, we can all be grateful for our friends and neighbors who are willing to serve our local communities and country in elected office,” says Brock Winslow ’86, NCSSM’s Vice Chancellor for External Relations & Chief of Staff. “In recognition of their call to service, we recognize here our closest NCSSM constituents, especially our alumni, who are known by us to be standing for election.”

Inclusion in this list does not serve as or imply in any way an endorsement from NCSSM. Rather, it highlights yet one more way members of the NCSSM community are inspired to give back to their own communities, the state of North Carolina, and to citizens throughout the United States.
