Hannah Davis joined NCSSM in January 2023 as a Community Coordinator on our Durham campus. She graduated from Catawba College in 2017 with a B.A. in communications and a double minor in environmental studies and creative writing. While in school, she was the editor-in-chief of her school newspaper and is always happy to give writing tips and edits. After college, Hannah worked in the IT and Environmental Education fields. Notably, she works as a contractor for the Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh for their large event days like Bugfest. Hannah has also been a part of a therapeutic wilderness camping program where she was able to canoe over 200 miles of the Neuse River and backpack over 50 miles of the Uwharrie National Forest with groups of teens. Her hobbies include whittling, video games, herping, baking, and identifying what weird critters her family member saw from the grainy photo they sent her. Hannah’s life-long goal is to be a part of the first colony on Mars.
