I taught high school English to 10th and 11th graders for 3 years at North Pitt High School in Bethel, NC. Then I moved back to Durham and taught at my alma mater Northern High School for 4 years. I joined NCSSM in 2000 as an assistant to the registrar and in 2001 I moved to the Office of the Chancellor, where I have been ever since. BS Teaching, English, East Carolina University
