Garry Covington joined NCSSM in August 2003 as Director of Plant Facilities after working several years as an engineer for Carolina Power & Light now part of Duke Energy and as Facilities Manager for Lenox China. He is responsible for the Grounds, Housekeeping, and Maintenance departments. Garry also oversees all construction and all repair and renovation projects. Some of Garry’s projects include the renovation of Bryan first floor, construction of the tennis court, addition of soccer field lighting, addition of the chiller plant, construction of the Fab Lab, Engineering, Robotics, and Physics renovations, and ventilation improvements for Chemistry and Biology.
