Eric Hunsley joined NCSSM in March 2021 as HR Assistant Director for the Morganton campus. He brings with him eight years of human resources experience with the UNC System, having worked for both UNC-Chapel Hill and the UNC System Office. He earned his bachelor’s degree in politics at Wake Forest University, and his resume covers a diverse array of careers including print journalism, public relations, healthcare marketing, the performing arts, and filmmaking. Having spent his childhood in Greensboro before moving to Birmingham, Alabama; Cincinnati, Ohio; New York, N.Y.; and Washington, D.C.; Eric is happy to again call the Tar Heel State “home.” In his spare time he enjoys exploring the foothills and mountains around Morganton. Of course, being a big fan of travel, dining, and theatre, the Big Apple is also a frequent destination!   BA, Politics, Wake Forest University
