Alitta Satchell joined NCSSM in October 2023 as Assistant to the Chancellor’s Office. She grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and relocated to North Carolina in December of 2022. Alitta’s professional career began in real estate, and prior to relocating she worked for the Regional Institution for Children and Adolescents. Alitta is also in the beauty industry. She has been a licensed cosmetologist for more than 10 years and she is a permanent makeup artist. In her spare time, Alitta enjoys interior design, art projects, and spending time with her family.
