Alina Hunt has been teaching at NCSSM since 1997. She taught both French and German until 2005, and continues to teach French. She earned National Board Certification in French in 2006 and renewal in 2015. Alina has been active in the World Language Department with the French Club, sponsoring seminars in French, German, Korean, Norwegian and other languages through the years. In addition to the numerous Mini-Term trips to France, Belgium, Germany and West Africa that she organizes, Alina has also taught French and German film seminars during Mini-Term. Alina holds a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature from Scripps College, and a PH.D. in comparative literature with a concentration in French and German from New York University.
