Course Description:

 Students will learn how to design and build their own treehouses! They will learn about the basics of engineering, including forces, structures, and materials, and about tree biology and how to safely build a treehouse that will not harm the tree. Students will learn different treehouse building techniques and how to use a variety of tools as they work in teams to design and build their own treehouses. At the end of the week, the students will vote on their favorite treehouse for a special prize.

During this course, we will also visit a real-life treehouse community and learn about the business of running a treehouse-themed business. They will also take a trip to a zipline course to experience the thrill of being high up in the trees.

This course is perfect for students who are interested in engineering, construction, and nature. They will have a blast learning how to build their own treehouse, and they will also learn valuable engineering skills that they can use in the future.
