Energy use has increased dramatically in the past 50 years. What is the impact of all of this energy use? What challenges do we face now that were not problems decades ago and what can students do about it now? What would the impact be of bike lanes added to major cities? What would it take to initiate that change? What would be the benefit of a major shift to solar energy, and what are the key obstacles? What is Duke Energy doing – what is our government doing – and what can we do to help make the shift to renewable energy? Collaborative teams will identify the problems that they want to address, the solutions that they would recommend, and take real steps to initiate change.
