This course uses hands-on experiential teaching techniques and interactive participation to prepare individuals for planning, opening and operating a small business. This includes developing self-esteem, critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed for successful entrepreneurship. Emphasis is placed on market research, financing, time management, and the day-to-day activities of owning/operating a small business. Upon completion, the participants should be able to write and implement a viable business plan and obtain financing for an enterprise.
