Ecosystems Experts

All participants will become ecosystem experts during the course. Students will learn all about different animals and their habitats through exploratory and engaging activities, including field trips to Tuttle State Forest and the WNC Nature Center. Students will get to research and report about their favorite animal. They will create a diorama of their animal habitat. Students will also learn about the different careers associated with the ecosystem.

I teach 2nd grade at Hudson Elementary in Caldwell County. I enjoy camping and the outdoors. Sitting outside on my back deck listening to music is one of my favorite ways to relax. I am married, have two grown children, three grandchildren, and a dog named Cash.
