This course covers the history and scope of forensic science. Topics covered include crime scene investigations, physical evidence, tool marks, impressions, and analytical techniques for organic and inorganic materials.
Students will get a general overview of several specialty areas of forensic science but learn the theory behind each specialty and conduct labs to apply their knowledge.
