This immersive summer course is designed to ignite curiosity and passion for engineering and science among students. Through hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and exploration of various engineering principles, participants will delve into the world of problem-solving, creativity, and scientific inquiry. Projects and activities include Coding and Cryptography: Learning Binary Code and Caesar Cipher, followed by practical applications in creating coded messages and deciphering them for a scavenger hunt; Biological Exploration: Extracting DNA from strawberries and constructing DNA models using edible materials; and Structural Engineering Challenges: Designing earthquake-proof structures and crafting functional catapults.
