Our three teams took 1st 3rd and 4th in the 2012 contest.
We plan on participating in the upcoming Charleston competition in February 2013. Watch this site for news. Here is a link to the C of C Math Meet competition site. This site will also carry announcements about the math meet. Mr. Rash is coördinating the trip.
Contact Dr. Morrison or Mr. Rash to get your name on this list. An announcement will be made after Christmas break. We will create and announce the teams here. We will create at least two teams, the Burninators and Trogdor's Troglodytes. If we create a third team, it will be the Homestars.
We always place in this and often take first. A couple of years ago, we took 1st, 2nd and 5th place. We'd love a total sweep! We must burninate the villages!!

The language of the contest is Python 3.2 . It is very helpful for you to know about Regular Expressions and how to write to and read from files. Dr. Morrison's Python book addresses these in Chapter 7.
All participants will take part in the math contest written test on Saturday morning and are encouraged to join in on ancillary activities as well, such as Chemistry and Physics sprints and relay teams.
