  Clubs & Organizations
NCSSM students enjoy a combination of academic rigor and real-world experiences. They can spend afternoons tutoring Durham children; compete on varsity athletic teams; embrace the challenges of the outdoors through weekend kayak and rock-climbing expeditions; learn Indian cuisine and dance; study Japanese Animation; compete with the Ultimate Frisbee Club; debate with Model UN; even explore culture with Harambee. Students also initiate many activities and festivals that bring the different cultures and experiences to campus such as the Native American Powwow, Worldfest, Africa Fest, and Asia Fest.

With more than 40 extracurricular activities and clubs to choose from, the NCSSM experience is easily personalized and suited to the student's individual interests.
