Agency’s Goals and Programs:
Williamson’s Chapel UMC aims to bring the non-churched to know Christ as their savior and to build people’s faith through Bible study. Services offered include worship service, Sunday school, Christian education, mission opportunities, fellowship, etc.
Agency Impact on Community:
Williamson’s Chapel UMC has set a Christian example for the community by regular work teams serving in the soup kitchen, pregnancy center, 5th Street Mission, Winnie Hooper Center, Serenity House, etc. They reach the world by working with other agencies like Samaritan’s Feet and Feed My Starving Children.
Volunteer Duties:
- Performing inventory on all computer and software
- Researching and developing video recorded sermons available through the Internet
- Setting up and working on a blog for coordination with the mission teams
