Agency’s mission statement:

The ongoing mission of Western Wake Crisis Ministry  (WWCM) has been to help the community coordinate emergency aid and combine volunteers from the church and community to distribute aid.

Agency’s goals and programs offered to clients/people served:

This agency provides food and necessities to people in emergency situations, such as loss of a job. WWCM also provides financial aid to those in an emergency to help pay rent, electric/water bills, and prescription drug costs.

Impact agency has had on community:

The agency has helped feed those in dire need, and kept the utilities of their homes, which has become such a major issue with our continued recession.

Volunteer Duties:

• Transport food from the Eastern Central Food Bank of NC
• Prepare food packages to be distributed
• Perform other tasks such as cleaning
