West Iredell High School seeks to put the interests of students first and to foster a spirit of personal and interpersonal respect. West Iredell High School resolves to provide a positive, engaging academic atmosphere through a curriculum based on honors, Advanced Placement, visual and performing arts, vocational education, JROTC, and community college Huskins course offerings.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

West Iredell High School has provided educational opportunities for the community, and the school’s ABC’s test scores have increased to 76.5% in 2004-2005. Additionally, the school provides community service opportunities, athletic events, and extracurricular enrichment programs to benefit the surrounding community.

Volunteer Duties

• Tutor students during summer school
