Agency’s Mission Statement:

To fulfill our call to be the physical presence of Jesus Christ by worshipping God with passions intentionally growing in faith, proclaiming the gospel with grace, and humbly serving in love.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to clients/people served:

Weddington Church offers four weekly worship services, a weekly Sunday school service, three weekly Bible studies, and weekly youth sessions. The agency sanctions the local Boy Scout troop and offers a wide variety of missions, both in and out of the country. They also offer numerous support groups and run a recreational basketball league. All of these activities are offered to promote fellowship, education, and Christian principles in the surrounding community.

Impact agency has made on the community:

Through both recreational activities and worship services, Weddington Church provides opportunities for members of the community to congregate and grow in their faith. They also offer support groups such as a Job Hunt, Help Support, AA, Cancer support group, divorce support, and a ministry to care for the elderly in nursing homes. Weddington Church affects other communities through their mission programs as well.

Volunteer Duties:

• Clerical work in church office
• Cleaning the youth center
• Renovating homes in McDowell County, West Virginia
• Working with Sunday school
• Vacation Bible school
• Caring Hearts program.
