Agency’s Mission Statement

The mission of the Waterworks Visual Arts Center is to provide diverse opportunities in the arts for all people through exhibitions, education, and outreach programs.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

Waterworks offers an extensive summer education program for ages 4-13 with 40 different classes in drawing, painting, sculpture and more. In addition, it offers fall, winter, and spring classes for adults. We aim to excite, challenge, and provide insight into the fuller creative process and its benefit to individuals and communities.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

Waterworks Visual Arts Center is the local point of this community and has provided activities and programs for more than 50 years. With a membership of more than 350 families, the arts center is continually growing in its services to the community.
