Wake Med provides Healthcare for Wake county as well as a widespread area around it. They have a Children’s Emergency room and a Level 1 Trauma Unit. Wake Med treats approximately 200,000 patients in the emergency room each they. They also help bring more than 7,600 newborns into the world each year.

Volunteer Duties:

• Assist patients with rehabilitation tasks
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sterilizing the surgical equipment.
• Clerical tasks.
