Mission Statement:

To preserve the rural character, to sustain natural habitats, to help establish a sense of community, to provide recreational opportunities for the residents of Marvin through the creation of a system of parks and greenways, to nurture the the development of walking, running, biking, and horse trails, and to assure the utility of our equestrian heritage by expanding existing trails.

Agency’s Goals and Programs:

The PGR Board serves to create a series of trails and greenways across Marvin to serve as a recreational option for its citizens.

Agency Impact on Community:

The PGR Board has helped the development of Marvin, issued permits for new and existing structure, and accomplished much more for the community over the years.

Volunteer Duties:

• Sanding and painting signs
• Doing research
• Blazing trails
• Making benches
