Agency’s Mission Statement

The mission of the University Hills Baptist Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, to connect with God’s word and others in Bible study, to serve in ministry, and to go into all the world to share Christ with others.

Agency’s Goals and Programs Offered to Clients/People Served

Worship and music programs are available for people of all ages. There are senior adult educational programs and activities available as well as children/youth programs and activities.

Impact the Agency Has Made on the Community

Members have volunteered with a variety of public service agencies to assist those who have physical needs. The church has worked with those who have unsteady houses and helped them work their way back into society. The church has also worked with neighborhoods to enhance community relations.

Duties You Will Perform as a Volunteer

• Helping coordinate mission projects for the summer
• Working with homeless shelters
• Assisting in programs that provide shoes for children
• Planning soccer camps for children in conjunction with UNCC
