Agency’s Mission Statement

The Salvation Army, and international movement, is an evangelical part of the Universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the Love of Gad. Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

The Center of Hope provides men, women, and children with transitional and emergency housing. Emergency assistance is open to walk ins, and assists the less fortunate. The Boys and Girls Club’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people who need them most. The Night Watch allows volunteers to go around at night with blankets, etc., offering help.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

The agency has been very successful with its Christmas programs and the Night Watch program. This community wouldn’t be the same without the Salvation Army.
