Agency’s Mission Statement

The Robeson County Church and Community Center is God’s people at work together, reaching out in love to meet our neighbors’ needs in the name of Christ. The Robeson County Church and Community Center seeks to involve people across cultural, racial, class, and denominational barriers in partnership with each other to address social needs and to move in Christ’s name toward solutions.

Literacy Programs – Reading for Success, Adult Literacy, Tutor Training

Senior Citizens Programs – Senior Citizen Assistance Line, Medical Equipment Loan Closet, Ensure Program, Home repairs and handicap accessbility

Emergency Assistance – Free Choice Food Pantry, The Christmas Store, Emergency Assistance

Agency’s Impact on the Community

The agency has built ramps, done minor home and roof repairs, and installed handicap aids for impoverished senior citizens of Robeson County. They pay utility bills and rent for individuals to prevent disconnection of service and eviction. The Free Choice Food Pantry enables adults to choose about four day’s worth of food for their families. These are some of the many things they do for the community.
