Rex Hospital is huge, and has a birth center, blood bank, cancer center, medical library, nursing care center, radiology department, rehabilitation center, and urgent care center.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

Rex has some of the highest quality healthcare in the country. Rex Healthcare has been serving patients in the community for well over 100 years, since its founding in 1840. A recent poll ranked the hospital one of the best 50 in the country. By teaming up with UNC Healthcare, Rex has expanded throughout the Triangle to meet the needs of all its patients.
