Agency’s Mission Statement

Onslow Women’s Center’s mission is to provide victims of domestic violence and sexual assault with a safe roof and a place where they can empower themselves to become independent and an asset to their communities.

Agency’s Goals and Programs Offered to Clients/People Served

Onslow Women’s Center conducts various programs in the community such as educational sessions about domestic violence, but their main effort is in the Women’s Shelter, which is a haven for female victims of domestic violence and their children.

Impact the Agency Has Made on the Community

The agency has made a huge impact on Onslow County. The Women’s Shelter is the only one of its type in Onslow County. Therefore, the Onslow Women’s Center’s educational programs are an asset to the community.
