The North Carolina State Legislature is the North Carolina legislative branch of government charged with writing and voting on statutes that will be implemented as state law.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

The agency is comprised of elected members, both senators and representatives, tasked with representing their constituents and passing laws favorable to them and the state as a whole.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

The NCGA, being the highest law making body in the state, has passed all laws affecting our state as a whole. Basically, the NCGA is our state government.
