Agency’s Mission Statement

To build relationships with the immigrant community and serve their needs by showing them all aspects of Christ’s love. In doing so we strive to create a culture of serving within the church.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

• Provide smoother transitions for refugees entering the US through mentor relationships
• ESL tutoring
• Furnishing new apartments for incoming immigrants
• Hosting events for refugees to provide them with a variety of material needs.
• Summer Vacation Bible School program for children at an apartment complex in Chapel Hill

Agency’s Impact on the Community

New Day has played a huge role in helping Raleigh’s refugee population get acquainted with life in the US. Various refugee families have been paired with ministry families who teach them English and help them find jobs. Volunteers distribute clothes and food to refugees, along with toys and necessities for children and infants. New Day also organized a sports camp to provide refugee children wholesome fun.
