Agency Mission Statement:

To promote public understanding and support for bioscience research.

Agency Goals and Programs:

The association has created a program called Science in the Cinema to interest high school students in medical science dilemmas. Workshops that cover related topics are offered to teachers of grades K-12. The main goal of the association is to foster an understanding of bioscience and and to create support for research.

Agency Impact:

Almost 3,500 teachers from 93 NC counties have participated in the programs offered by the association. Also, almost 1,000 state residents have attended forums to debate issues presented by the association.
