Mission Hospital aims to carry out the goals specified in the mission statement, and strives to  free up physicians so they can do more meaningful work.

Agency Impact on Community:

Mission Hospital is one of the fastest growing volunteer agencies in the Asheville area. A combined 100,000+ hours have provided professional free service to thousands who needed it and kept hospital bills lower for the benefit of the patients of the community.

Volunteer Duties:

• Making packets for various departments
• Shredding important, but obsolete, documents
• Discharging patients
• Helping to sanitize surgical instruments
