Agency’s goals and programs offered to clients/people served:

The church has many ministries in which they actively serve and involve the members: Food Pantry, which helps feed many hungry families; sandwich ministry, which provides lunch to school age kids; prison ministry; vacation bible school; Hispanic ministry; bible studies; support groups; boy/girl scouts; youth ministry; shut in ministry; and music programs (choir, youth choir, handbells).

Impact the Agency has made on the community:

The Church’s youth group has annually donated the most cans of any youth group to the district canned food drive. After discovering the need was greater than the size of the Church’s food pantry, the church partnered with Loaves and Fishes, a local food bank, to create a bigger pantry. The church has volunteers that help with the local “Meals on Wheels” ministry which delivers meals to underprivileged families and shut-ins.

Volunteer Duties:

• Aid the Vacation Bible school, specifically in the Dance and Music programs
• Help set up and break down for events
• Help cater for the church members, hispanic ministry
• Go on the six day mission trip to Goldsboro to aid the community outreach program and disaster relief.
