Agency’s Mission Statement:

The mission of Loaves & Fishes Christian Food Ministry Inc. is to offer assistance, encouragement , and empowerment of persons in need through the distribution of food and limited financial assistance without regard to race, gender orientation, or social economic status in the name and spirit of Christ. It is our conviction that persons can better fulfill their potential when offered a helping hand.

Agency’s goals and programs offered to clients/people served:

This agency’s goal is to offer groceries to families around Alamance County that can’t afford their own food.

Impact agency has made on the community:

The agency has provided people with one of the most basic necessities: food. They have spread the love of God by giving out food and, more importantly, hope and care.

Volunteer Duties:

• Put food on shelves
• Help load and unload food trucks
• Deliver food and lunches to people who are unable to come to Loaves and Fishes to get food.
• Interview people who are applying for food assistance
