Agency’s Mission Statement
The Lee Brothers Sidekick Foundation is a nonprofit organization that seeks to provide and promote educational opportunities which empower our youth and strengthen our community through supporting programs such as annual college scholarships and teacher grants for classroom projects.
Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served
LBSKF’s goal is to provide educational opportunities in all aspects. This is accomplished through annual academic scholarships college bound high school seniors and college students. Our teacher grant programs offer opportunities for local area teachers to apply for grants for either specific projects or necessary supplies for their classroom so that they can focus more on education and less on budget. We also educate our modern women in safety awareness through women self-defense clinics. Funds generated from such clinics are donated to local domestic violence shelters.
Agency’s Impact on the Community
Since 2003 Lee Brothers Side Kick FOundation was able to support by funding “My Sister’s House,” a shelter for domestic violence victims, so that they can not only take care of their residents but also start pilot programs. LBSKF even became the single largest private donor in some years. Six students received thousands of dollars in scholarship money to help pay for college. We also sponsored over a dozen wishes to the “Make a Wish Foundation” children, giving over $6,400 in donations. In 2009 alone over a dozen teachers received grant money from LBSKF.
Volunteer Duties
- Each volunteer will engage in assistance of all aspects of our operations from communications with prospective donors to help coordinating specific fundraising events, marketing, press release, miscellaneous administrative duties, etc.

- Assist children and youth leadership camp
