Agency’s Mission Statement

Kidzu’s mission is to inspire children and the adults in their lives through play. Kidzu’s vision for the future is to become one of the best community children’s museums in the country, and, through partnerships with local educational and cultural institutions, an innovator in museum-based education for children.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

This agency offers hands-on exhibits; weekly programs for young children (0-8) from Orange, Durham, and Chatham counties and beyond; field trips; birthday parties; and story time.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

Kidzu provides a place for families to learn and play together. This is an open-ended environment that allows children to use their creativity in an explorative manner with no specific goal in mind.
