Agency’s Mission Statement:

The Fontang Regional Library system provides the public of Jackson, Macon, and Swain counties with excellent service and convenient access to resources for their education, informational, and recreational needs.

Agency’s Goals and programs offered to clients/people served:

To provide residents with the latest best sellers, internet access, movies, music and information through:

• Adult and children focused programs
• Movie Nights
• Book Clubs

Impact agency has made on the community:

Jackson County Public Library has provided residents with a free or low cost way to access resources such as books, magazines, computers, movies, music and other information.

Volunteer Duties:

• Assisting the librarian and staff perform daily library functions.
• Shelf reading
• Shelving
• Processing books.
