Agency’s Mission Statement:

Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership’s (HOBY) mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. HOBY also seeks to to motivate and empower individuals to make a positive difference within our global society through understanding and action based on effective and compassionate leadership.

Agency’s goals and programs offered to clients/people served:

HOBY programs provide youth selected by their schools to participate in unique leadership training, service-learning, and motivation-building experiences. HOBY also provides adults with opportunities to make a significant impact on the lives of youth by volunteering.

Impact agency has made on the community:

Upon completion of the program, HOBY participants are charged with completing 100 hours of community service. Thanks to the training, each participant receives at HOBY, they have the resources and ability to do that. By helping train future leaders, each community represented a HOBY student get the benefit of their 100 hours and the leaderships that they will bring back to their community.
