Agency’s Mission Statement:

The Hugh O’Brian’s Youth Leadership organization (HOBY) is committed to teaching tomorrow’s leaders today. They achieve this through yearly leadership camps, which occur in every state and several countries. The three-day camp focuses on promoting leadership through hands-on activities and panel sessions with real world leaders.

Agency’s goals and programs offered to clients/people served:

The agency’s yearly camp is offered to over two-hundred of the state’s top leaders, one from each participating schools. As a part of the camp, ambassadors start their community service by volunteering with triangle-region organizations. Many alumni return to these organizations after the camps to volunteer.

Impact agency has made on community:

HOBY NC and the affiliate HOBY organizations have made profound impacts on North Carolina and the world. As a part of the camp, ambassadors start their community service by volunteering with triangle-region organizations. Many alumni return to these organizations after camp to volunteer.

Volunteer Duties:

• Lead the ambassadors throughout the weekend
• Lead reflection sessions which discuss what was learned from a real-world leader panel
• Promote the fun of volunteering
