Hickory Pubic Library will serve as a focal point of the community, meeting the lifelong learning needs of all people as well as providing exceptional service, materials, and programs to meet their informational, recreational, cultural, and business needs.

The library offers adult and children’s programming, a current browsing collection, extensive services, and an in depth local history collection.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

Hickory Public Library has helped to educate the Hickory community, allowing clients to perform research in the extensive genealogy collection, and providing online services to those who would not otherwise have the opportunity to use them.
