Agency Goals and Programs:

Hearts and Hammers has been helping those in need in the Charlotte area for years. They perform maintenance on homes fir people who are not physically or financially able to do so themselves. Their next project is building a fence for a family with an autistic child.

Agency Impact:

Hearts and Hammers completes over 250 jobs annually for the community. They build wheelchair ramps frequently as well as clean gutters, repair roofs, and build fences. Various other similar contributions are also donated to the community.

Volunteer Duties:

• Digging fence posts
• Screwing boards together for ramps
• Cleaning gutters
• Performing other manual labor
