Agency’s Mission Statement

To provide help, hope, and safety to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and displaced homemakers in Johnston County.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

It is a 14 bed shelter and a transitional home, and offers other services to assist victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. Its goal is to help those suffered become psychologically and emotionally ready to begin a new chapter in their life.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

It has allowed thousands of women in Johnston County to have an option. Women know they are welcomed with open arms at Harbor instead of continuing to live with an abusive significant other or hide their sexual assault.
