Agency’s Mission Statement

Granville County Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere from all walks of life to develop communities for people in need by building and renovating houses.

Agency’s Goals and Programs Offered to Clients/People Served

Habitat for Humanity builds homes for people in need with the future homeowner and volunteer’s help. The mortgage payments are used to build more houses.

Impact the Agency Has Made on the Community

GCHFH has built 8 homes in Granville County and is working on the 9th. The ReStore, since opening on June 1st, 2007, has diverted over $200,000 of merchandise from regional landfills.

Duties You Will Perform as a Volunteer

• Help customers in the ReStore
• Assist on sites (i.e. helping with food or building)
