Agency Mission Statement:

To create an environment that stimulates and enriches our diverse community, to encourage lifelong learning, to nurture the joys of reading, and to celebrate the connection between the arts and literature.

Agency Goals and Programs:

The library enables people to borrow books, and provides a place where the advancement of knowledge can occur. An art gallery is also located at the Hemphill Branch. Free knitting classes and a chess club are available for children to have wholesome fun.

Agency Impact:

The library has created opportunities for those less fortunate. It has opened a path for people of all ages to learn more about the world.
