Agency’s Mission Statement

We help people help people. Our purpose is to supplement the activities of paid staff by providing volunteer assistance. We also provide teens with an opportunity to learn about healthcare careers and the rewards of volunteering.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

This agency enhances services all across the hospital, from anesthesia to wound care and from toymakers to flower delivery. Ultimately, this agency’s primary goal is to provide better health care for all patients that get admitted to Moore Regional Hospital.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

Volunteers at Moore Regional Hospital help patients heal by providing a comfortable environment. The volunteers in this agency assist hospital employees so that they spend more time caring for patients and less time on clerical duties.

Volunteer Duties

As a volunteer for this agency, I will help transport patients to and from testing areas. I will also assist teachers with children’s meal and craft times at a children’s day care associated with Moore Regional Hospital.
