Agency’s Mission Statement

The mission of Elon Academy is to inspire academically oriented students who are often underrepresented on college and university campuses to pursue higher education, build leadership skills, and develop an acute sense of social responsibility.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

Elon Academy aims to engage students in a challenging curricular, co-curricular, and cultural experiences to ensure that they get the essential resources they need to lead productive, fulfilling lives. Elon Academy provides a four week summer camp to talented high school students, giving important lessons in many subjects and also gives important tips in college planning.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

Elon Academy has helped the ‘College for Every Student’ organization in its goals in North Carolina. It has given many student living in undeveloped areas a chance to go to college and improve their lives.

Volunteer Duties

• Produce a college-theme coloring book for grade-school students
• Lead Elon Academy students
