Agency’s Mission Statement

The mission of Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church is to preach, teach and evangelize the gospel of Christ Jesus in such a way to bring a sense of wholeness to individuals by addressing their spiritual, physical, social, educational and emotional needs. We endeavor to accomplish this task of seeking one another and the community through the medium of the work of the church.

Agency’s Goals and Programs Offered to Clients/People Served

The agency’s goal is to uplift the community and provide aid to those who need it in the name of Jesus Christ. They provide a day care, after school program, and a summer program for low income families in the community. They deliver “meals on wheels” 5 days a week to disabled seniors. They also provide food from their food bank to low and no income families.

Impact the Agency Has Made on the Community

Because of this agency’s efforts, crime in the Monroe area has decreased. Many senior citizens are now guaranteed food everyday. Low/no income families can now receive food to last them for several days and they also have a safe place for their children to go during the day so that they may work or look for work.

• Deliver meals to senior citizens as well as families in need
• Clean and organize office
• Clean daycare/learning center for inspections
• Help children
