Agency’s Mission Statement
It is our mission to provide assistance and advocacy for people in financial crisis, helping them move toward self-sufficiency. It is our vision to inspire our community to justice and generosity as we provide help, hope, and understanding to people struggling with limited financial resources.
Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Client/People Served
Crisis Assistance Ministry’s goal is to provide help for low-income or impoverished individuals and families. They provide multiple programs for clients in different situations of crisis. The Emergency Financial Assistance Program helps those in financial distress by preventing eviction and utility loss with direct payments to utility companies and landlords. There is also a free store that provides clothing, household items, furniture, and appliances.
Agency’s Impact on the Community
Last year alone, 23,928 cases were solved, 22,731 adults were served, and 21,228 children were served. 1,663,740 pounds of clothing were received to be distributed amongst those in need. 731,954 items were distributed such as furniture and appliances.
