Therapeutic riding is an activity that provides physical, emotional, and social enrichment to children and adults with special needs.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

For 10 years Coastal Therapeutic Riding Program has made the dreams of parents, professionals, volunteers, and riders become a reality. Through riding, our students have benefitted in many ways; the rhythmic actions of horses’ gaits relax and strengthen riders’ muscles and improves body tone, posture, balance, joint mobility, and coordination. Volunteers and professionals have shared the benefits as well by helping students, horses, and the program in general improve and grow.
